Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin has the latest on the encounter during Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's presser on 'Special Report.'

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after suffering an allergic reaction, according to a State Department spokesperson.

She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution, an official told Fox News Digital.

Noem is said to be alert and recovering.
